What is the best way to bill in a pesticide, fertilizer or seed shop?

How do automatic payment reminders work?
Every morning AgroKhata checks all unpaid bills. It sends a WhatsApp reminder from your own number a few days before the due date, on the due date, and then every few days while the bill is overdue. As soon as you record the payment, the reminders stop. You choose the days, the message wording and whether reminders are on at all.
Can I send invoices to farmers on WhatsApp?
Yes. Open any bill and tap WhatsApp - the PDF goes straight to the farmer's number from your own WhatsApp. You link your WhatsApp once by scanning a QR code. You can also message a whole village or crop group at once.
Does it support GST invoices with HSN codes?
Yes. AgroKhata makes GST tax invoices (CGST + SGST or IGST) and Bills of Supply with separate number series, keeps HSN codes on products, and has GST summary and HSN reports.
Does it track batch numbers and expiry dates?
Yes. Every purchase creates a batch with its number, expiry date and cost. Sales take stock batch-wise, and you get low-stock and expiry alerts so pesticides and seeds do not expire on your shelf.
What do I need to register?
Just your name and your WhatsApp mobile number. The OTP comes on WhatsApp, then you set a password. You log in with your mobile number.
Will other shops see my data?
No. Each shop's data - farmers, products, bills and settings - is completely separate. Even if the same mobile number exists in two shops, a bill only goes to that shop's own farmer.
What happens when my plan ends?
Your data stays safe and you can still view it. To add new bills or entries you need to renew the plan. You also get a WhatsApp warning before the plan ends.
Will I get a GST invoice for my plan?
Yes. After payment you get a GST invoice, and the link also arrives on WhatsApp.
How do I bring in my old data?
Import your farmers from a CSV file (name, mobile, village, crop, opening balance). You can also add products and opening stock.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. AgroKhata runs in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer. Nothing to install.
